Q FEVER

Overview

Q fever is a zoonotic disease caused by Coxiella burnetii, a species of bacteria that is distributed globally. In 1999, Q fever became a notifiable disease in the United States but reporting is not required in many other countries. Because the disease is underreported, scientists cannot reliably assess how many cases of Q fever have actually occurred worldwide. Many human infections are inapparent.

Persatuan Graduan Sekolah-sekolah Teknik Malaysia (PGTM) ingin membuka peluang tuan/puan yang berminat untuk menyertai kursus penternak kambing yang bakal dijalankan pada Mac 2008. Kursus adalah terbuka kepada semua yang berumur 18 tahun.

KURSUS PENTERNAK KAMBING

Satu kursus mengenai penternakan kambing dengan usahasama antara Al-Barakah Global Food Industry Sdn Bhd dan Bank Pertanian Malaysia (BPM) akan diadakan seperti berikut :-

Bayaran : RM20.00
Tempat: Pusat Latihan BPM (ABADI) dan Ladang Al-Barakah, Nilai
Syarat Peserta: Penternak yang mempunyai ternakan lebih dari 5 ekor.

This condition which is also called ''acute carbohydrate engorgement'' or ''lactic acidosis'', is life threatening and must be handled as an emergency. Treatment must begin as soon as it is realized that the goat has eaten a more than normal amount (as little as half again as much) of grain or other sources of readily fermentable starch. The longer treatment is delayed, the more difficult it is to reverse the progressive chain of events that will end in death in 2 to 4 days.
